About Gang Green Lacrosse
About Gang Green

Our mission is to provide quality, developmental and advanced skills, and leadership training to build players’ and coaches’ integrity, knowledge of the game, and good sportsmanship.
We focus on our players and their developmental needs in order to give each player opportunities that fit their skill levels. While cultivating a strong team and community foundation.
Our vision is to build a lacrosse community where players can grow in integrity, leadership, and knowledge of the sport in order to have positive, competitive, and fun experiences through the game of lacrosse.
We believe in attending premier recruiting and showcase tournaments throughout the country. This allows our players and teams to play in a challenging competitive environment. More importantly, this provides an opportunity to improve their lacrosse skills and lacrosse IQ at a higher level. The tournaments are carefully selected to help showcase our players who wish to continue playing at a collegiate level to college coaches.
Our values are integrity, skill development, leadership, and community.
- Integrity, we will coach, communicate and instruct with integrity. We strive to be empathic, effective, and excellent in our instruction to our athletes, families, refs, and the greater lacrosse community.
- Skill, we strive to continue to build our skill sets so that we can deliver thoughtful, appropriate instruction.
- Leadership, we strive to teach girls how to be leaders on the field, so that they can positively impact their teams.
- Community, we strive to develop the youth lacrosse community that give athletes a space to learn how to play the game as well as provide older athletes the chance to mentor younger athletes through coaching.
Coaching Staff

Mike Ballard
GG Lax Director
Special Assistant Shenendehowa Girl's Lacrosse

Shana Little
GG Lax Head Coach
Gang Green Senior Coach
Going forward, one of the head coaches above will be assigned to a team for the entire year. This change will build better player/coach relationships. Players will have a better understanding of their coaches expectations and coaching style. Coaches will better get to know their players capabilities and learning style.
Also, we believe that current Women college players have a positive impact on our high school and youth players. They are great role models and have a ton to offer from a lacrosse perspective. Going forward, they will continue to assist the club at practices and in assistant coaching roles during our Summer and Fall seasons when available.
